A conventional screed levels to a plane. 3D laser screeding follows a specified design grade, so the machine places and levels to the elevation the drawing calls for rather than to a single flat reference.
The screed head reads its laser reference hundreds of times a second and corrects itself on every pass. That means one pass to place, strike off and level, instead of hand screeding to wet pads and chasing grade by hand.
On a slab with designed slope, drainage pitch or a contoured profile, that is the difference between hitting the grade and fighting it.
Flatter floors and better FF/FL numbers, measured and documented rather than eyeballed. The racking installer does not need shims.

3D laser screeding uses a laser-guided screed to place and level concrete to a specified design grade in a single pass. Unlike a conventional screed that levels to one flat plane, a 3D system follows the elevations the drawing calls for, which is what sloped, contoured and drainage-critical slabs require.
FF 50 / FL 35 or better routinely on warehouse and industrial floors, with super-flat specifications up to FF 80 available for defined-traffic aisle and automated picking environments. All flatness results are documented and delivered at closeout.
Commercial and industrial slabs from roughly 20,000 sqft up, where one-pass placement and the flatness result both pay for the mobilisation. Smaller scopes are evaluated case by case, and we will tell you honestly if the machine is not the right answer for your job.
